More on Hearing Aid Dispensing & FittingWe ask a lot from our hearing aids, and some wear-and-tear is to be expected no matter how well you care for them. Some minor repairs can be done in our office, but in some cases the device will need to be returned to the manufacturer. Be sure to attend scheduled maintenance appointments to ensure that your hearing aid is functioning properly and contact Reger & Associates Professional Hearing Solutions if you experience any technical malfunctions between appointments.
More on Hearing Aid Repair & MaintenanceLive speech mapping increases the changes that the programming of your new device is done correctly on the first try, reducing the number of office visits necessary to make sure that your hearing aid is working as efficiently as possible. At this interactive appointment, small microphones will be placed in your ear canal and will measure the response of your device. You will be asked to bring along a family member or friend to your live speech mapping appointment. In addition to offering emotional support, a familiar presence can help your hearing care professional gauge your ability to hear and process speech and other sounds.
