We believe great care includes establishing great relationships with our patients. Treating hearing loss is an ongoing process that requires regular follow-ups, maintenance and cleanings to keep you hearing your best. Patrick Brand Au.D. F-AAA

Audiologist

Patrick Brand, Au.D. has been practicing audiology for over 14 years. He spent the first 7 years of his career working as a clinical audiologist at ProMedica Flower hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. In 2015, Dr. Brand moved his young family to the Michiana area and took a position with Allied Hearing and Balance in South Bend Indiana as a clinical audiologist. After 14 years working as a clinical audiologist, providing excellent care to his patients, and helping to support otolaryngologist physicians, he transitioned to an owner's position at Reger and Associates to allow more time and focus on helping his own patients' hearing health care needs.

Alison Kartz, HIS

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Alison joined Michiana Hearing Inc, in May 2023 as an audiology assistant. In October 2024, after completing her coursework and passing her state examination, she became hearing instrument specialist. Alison has worked in the medical field for over 15 years with over 5 years of experience working in the hearing health care field. Before joining our Michiana Hearing Inc team, she worked Allied ENT as a medical assistant and eventually with Dr. Brand as his audiology assistant there before joining him at Michiana Hearing Inc. Alison is patient oriented and genuinely cares for her patients' individual needs.

Lauren West

Patient Care Coordinator

Here at Michiana Hearing, Lauren is the first face you see walking through our door, greeting you with a smile. She's the one who gets you checked in for your appointment before you see Dr. Brand or Alison. Lauren can assist you with gets scheduled or answering any questions.
